Even when we are at our best, most of us find it difficult to get enough sleep. We’ve heard all the tips: exercise, eating well, sleeping in complete darkness, finding a routine at night, meditation, no computer after a certain hour, don't drink alcohol, drink less caffeine, etc. But with so many tips on getting adequate (and quality) sleep, how do we know what's right or the right combination? Some of us still may have trouble falling asleep. Even if we do all of them, we may not be guaranteed to get the sleep that supports optimal health. That’s where sleep supplements enter the picture.
Deciding How Much Sleep You Need
We all need to recharge, but some of us do it more efficiently than others. The traditional 8 hours a night may not be the right amount for everyone. Some people are fine on 6 or 7, and some people may need 9 hours.
